OxBan™ Oxygen Scavenger
A specially formulated, concentrated liquid inorganic sulfite that eliminates oxygen as a corrosion promoter in fresh water and in low-density oilfield completion and workover fluids. It is designed for use in clear brine fluids containing monovalent ions, such as sodium and potassium. Not for use with chrome-resistant alloy (CRA) metallurgy.

Chemicals that react with H2S very often also have an affinity for CO2. The concentration of CO2 relative to H2S in natural gas is often very large (percent levels CO2 compared to a few parts per million (ppm) of H2S), which further makes removal of CO2 less attractive and more uneconomical. The need for selective removal of H2S therefore emerged as a key criterion for cost effective sweetening of natural gas.
TETRA CO2X Scavenger
TETRA CO2X scavenger is designed to treat acid gas contamination (principally carbon dioxide,) increase the pH, and to extend the temperature stability of polymer and water-based fluids. This scavenger offers the added benefit of minimizing corrosion in packer fluids, and water-based drilling fluids. It is environmentally acceptable in the Gulf of Mexico and in the North Sea.
TETRA H2S Scavenger T Gold is an amine based H2S scavenger that has been approved by Cefas for use in the North Sea with completion and drilling fluids. H2S Scavenger T is an amine-based, hydrogen sulfide (H2S ) scavenger for use in completion and drilling fluids.
